The Jasmine Seafood Restaurant drive was our first and most successful drive! Sara and her family came, along with 72 new donors! We found out just how much San Diego really cares!

Along we A3M, we held a 2-day drive in February at the San Diego Chinese New Year food and culture faire. Volunteers braved rain and generally cold, miserable conditions to spread the word about marrow donation and Sara's battle. Great weekend!

We had a whirlwind week of 4 drives in May 2005 in the Central Coast and SF Bay area! Included here are a couple pics from each drive.

We helped Jun Lan (from A3M) with a great drive at Coastline Community Church on June 12th. We had thirty one donors, but best of all we didn't have to hustle anyone -- each and every person came voluntarily to us because they had already heard about the need. Great! Check out the FotoFlix.

Justin (Sara's cousin) came to visit in March and we all went to Sequoia National Park to see BIG trees and have a nice picnic. The visit was quick, but fun for all!

Sara's memorial service was held on Sunday, Aug 28th, 2005. It was especially touching to hear everyone's stories, comments, and ways in which such a little girl personally touched them. Thank you to all who came to mourn and celebrate the short life of a such a wonderful little girl!
